Founder’s Experience

Doreen Abeysundra is the founder of Fresco CleanTech Solutions. She is passionate about investment which positively impacts society and the environment by increasing the use of clean technology and reducing food waste.

Her debt, equity, PPA and project finance banking experience in renewable energy and social infrastructure across APAC, Europe, the Middle East and Africa has honed a risk-embracing practitioner with a keen aptitude for originating diverse deals, negotiating mandates and securing commitments. She has extensive contacts across developers, sponsors, debt and equity providers.

Doreen holds an MSc. in Climate Change Management from Birkbeck University of London and is an alumnae of Abilene Christian University's College of Business Administration with an English minor. She obtained a first class pass in the Saïd Business School Oxford FinTech Program, attained certification of CAIA's Fundamentals of Alternative Investment and is a certified Non-Executive Director.

Fresco CleanTech's Experience

Fresco CleanTech Solutions was established in May 2023 and previously traded as Fresco Advisory between January 2017 and December 2020.

Fresco CleanTech is currently consulting with and/or raising financing for developers in production of low carbon hydrogen via electrolytic or solid oxide technologies, waste-to-X and fixed-bottom offshore wind, plus exploring the use of nuclear energy in generating low-carbon electricity. All alongside carefully considered power purchase options to ensure optimal levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) and/or hydrogen (LCOH).

Fresco Advisory successfully consulted with and/or raised financing for developers and investors in floating offshore wind, waste-to-biofuel under the UK's RTFO program, tidal energy, solar PV.
